How Not to Ruin a First Date
Many people think it is very okay to carry out experiments on a first date. But is it just okay?
Why on earth would anyone want to ruin a first date? Is it not supposed to be an occasion where you ought to be cautious of the impression you create, knowing that it might last forever? But some people never learn, no matter the amount of lessons they are taught, they don’t just learn.
Preparing for a first date is not the time to listen to any idea of voice that pops out of your head. It might lead to that date becoming a last date. Some people expect a kiss on the first date, but how far can you go in relationship that involves someone you kissed or even got laid on a first date? Don’t be deceived, there cannot be a future in that kind of relationship
Apart from refusing to give in to the demands of the voice or idea that pops up in your head, a first date is also not a time to carry out experiments.
A young man who recently turned twenty one (21) wanted to impress a girl he just met and decided to do the unthinkable.
He couldn’t think of any better way to show her how tough he was except by tucking a poisonous snake under his jacket on their first date.
On the day of this experiment which he tagged “operation show her thy serpent”, he drew up a well written script which was intended to be played out by him and his snake friend, the problem was; he failed to give the snake a copy of his well written script.
The young man was lucky to escape with his life after paramedics and the animal rescue team unplugged his buttock from the fangs of the serpent.
Other people also want to use a first date as an opportunity to prepare meals they never dreamt of cooking in their lifetime.
Please don’t do it, I know of a guy who couldn’t tell the difference between vegetable oil and kerosene. He opted for kerosene to fry parts of his special delicacy, and what happened afterwards?
His house was raised to the ground. Thank God he was able to escape with the shirt he had on and a slice of potato that was in his mouth as at the time the fire started.
The bottom line is we should try to be ourselves on a first date and always avoid experiments and practices that we are not familiar with. First impressions last longer, but if you suspect that impression would get you in trouble, ditch it!
