How to Ask Someone Out

How to begin the dating process.

This is an article for every single person. EVERYONE has seen somebody that they would like to know better. If your a guy you have a girl (or guy…if you roll that way) in the back of your mind that has been churning for a while. You must act soon. I’ve made the mistake of waiting too long to ask someone out and totally missed my window for the relationship. If your clueless on dating here’s how to begin:

  1. Status

Make sure she is single. It’s kind of embarrassing if you work up the courage to finally ask out the women you’ve been looking at for a while, and she rejects you because she’s not single.

  2. Be Smooth

Put the moves on her. Make hints at her and flirt. Playing around with her is a great way to flirt a little. Push her around some. Not like body checking her, but a nice innocent little push here and there. Make her laugh and joke with her. Don’t be obnoxious. If she reacts in a negative way she doesn’t want you and you should probably stop before in turns into a sexual harassment lawsuit and a restraining order. That was a joke. Not for reals.

  3. Her Interests

If you know her friends that is a great thing. Especially if she has a guy friend you can talk to. Find out from them if they are interested in you or any crushes she may have. Hanging out with her friends will make her more comfortable around you, making communication easier.

  4. The Proposal

It’s time to go in for the kill. Asking her out can be very difficult, but you got to ask someone out eventually in your life, so get some practice in now. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ALONE when you ask her out. Being alone with her is very important. Not alone from the public , but away from her friends. Her friends might influence her decision, and you want her to be %100 honest.

  5. Possible Rejection

You might get rejected when asking this person out. Don’t worry. It’s one person. There are many fish in the sea as they say. You should be able to find another person you will like just as much or better. Don’t get all ” my life is over” because of rejection. Try one of her friends that you got to know. Maybe she will go out with you. But you should have a sense of whether or not she will date you way before the proposal stage.
