Holding onto anger is like grasping hot coals with the intention of throwing it at someone else, you can miss and you are the one who definitely gets burned.

So learn how to stop anger will free you from exhausting mood and prevent you from doing something wrong. Whether your anger comes from jealousy, irritation or past wrongdoing of someone else, carry on this anger will hurt you more than the person who you are mad at. Here are some tips to escape the hatred and get back to your normal life.

Identify the cause of the grudge. Did this person really have the intention of hurting you? Or he or she did it unintentionally? Do they compete with you socially? Do they have traits of that cause you intense irritation? Answer all these question and decide whether you are willing to forgive them.

Try to understand them. Sometime we confuse between the ability to hate someone with the inability to understand them. They are just human – just like you and everyone else – they also feel sad, insecure and angry, too. Maybe they just hurt you when they are in anger and couldn’t control everything action. Be tolerant and forgive their mistakes.

Find something you have in common. You may share a talent or manner. At the very least, you may come from the same school, community …etc. Find positive signs in your relationship. You don’t have to love everybody in this world, but you shouldn’t hate anyone you don’t love.

Behave properly and politely. Don’t make yourself a fool when you bad mouth or try to revenge somebody with any cost. Be polite and make sure that everything is clear and you understand what he or she’s intention. Replace your anger with positivity. If angry feeling resurfaces, repeat this quote to your self: “Be kind and forgiving”

Remember that holding to a grudge can serious harm you mental health. It’s very important that you take steps to get rid of it. But don’t forget to act with positive and forgiving manner. That’s everything you need to stay away from anger and live a positive and happy life.
