How to Have a Successful Long Distance Relationship

Since social networking sites were invented something very special was created, and that thing was a long distance relationship. Long distance relationships were around before the internet but for the genre of relationship I am referring to is one where you actually find a person online. A majority of people using the internet, use social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and Heaven Above, there are plenty more out there on the internet.

It doesn’t take long to find someone willing to have an online or long distance relationship, but you must be warned that depending on what site you’re on or even that doesn’t half of the time make a difference, but some people are only after one thing and that one thing could be either sex or to get what they can from you. But don’t let that put you down or turn you away from the whole idea! There is someone out there with pure intent and whether that person is your soul mate it remains to be seen. I guess the point I’m getting at is your soul mate may not be somewhere in a different country, that person maybe right under your nose and you may not even know it yet! But that person you have been longing to find, that person who you have dreamed about your whole life may be out there on a certain social networking site, you just need to persist and find your soul mate.

But what do I do when I find, what I think may be that special person?

Well, if that person is your soul mate then you will feel an instant spiritual connection. Whether you are spiritual or not you will feel the instant bond and the deep longing feeling of love right there in your heart and stomach. Even if your true love lives so far away that doesn’t mean anything, as the power of love will bring you two closer together in some way or another.

The only problem with a long distance relationship is that it is something of which requires time, patients and your heart to be in the right place for it to work, and that is something which requires the same level of devotion on both half’s of the equation.

A typical successful long distance relationship must consist and progress upon a few simple steps. Step one:  send emails to one another build up as much information you can about the person before anything comes of it. Step two: talk on instant messenger msn or yahoo messenger, and do the same, have general chats about one another’s life’s and your interests. Step three: Speak on the phone; Skype is a great way of communicating if you pay the monthly unlimited world subscription, this is a great way of leaning more about each other, expressing your new found love for one another, if you two can’t be together in body then at least your voices can be together and you can imagine you are sat next to each other talking. Keep on with all three steps, at least until you can be together in person.
