How to Keep Romance Alive in Marriage
Here are some practical tips to keep romance alive in marriage. I am definite that wives would wish their husband is reading this.
For lots of couples, romance used to be very much alive during courtship and the boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. More often than not the fire of romance dies after marriage. For a very romantic person like me, this is very disappointing and depressing at times. My husband is not that romantic. He is not also the type of person who can melt a woman’s heart through thoughtful actions and sweet words.
If I were to be asked on what would make our daily life still romantic after two kids, these are what I would suggest to my husband the way I tell my male friends:
Be more expressive about your feelings of love to your partner. You need not utter ‘I love you’ all the time, but saying it once in a blue moon will make a difference about the way you connect to each other emotionally. Women are said to be more vocal about emotions. However, for men to be vocal about their feelings will surely contribute greatly in keeping the romance alive by putting a twinkle in their partner’s eyes.
Find time to be together away from house chores, kids, work and other obligations. Setting a date just for the two of you at least once a month will rekindle how you felt when you were still on the dating stage. It is very important that you have time just for each other.
Little surprises can bring a huge feeling of excitement once in a while. This does not necessarily mean material things or gifts. Anything with element of surprise like all of a sudden being helpful with chores or a nice massage after she finished work will give her the feeling of being important and taken care of. A bunch of flowers or a box of chocolate for you to share will also be a nice surprise when there is really no special occassion to celebrate.
A small note or love letter on the side of her bed or on top of the pillow at night before she goes to bed is such a romantic thing to do. Just tell her in few words how much she means to you. You will see how this simple note will fire up romance.

I know only one thing,
If a woman loves her hubby,
She will give in,
Whenever, wherever,
He wants it.
And he will let her have him,
As often as she likes it.
Marriage is a compromise,
For men marriage till the last days,
Is sexually orientated,
And for women emotional.
Some women are like statues,
Some men are also,
But one statue,
Should not marry another.
So to have a happy married life,
Say ‘’I love you dear’’ wifely,
And she should say
‘’I love you too,’’
Dear, when now or later.
