2. See if he introduces you to his friends when they are around. This shows that he is not embarrassed when you are with him.
3. See how he reacts when he sees you walking somewhere. If he calls your name while with a group of his friends in public it is a good thing. It means he is allowing his friends (which are the hardest to impress) to judge you. This is a good thing.
4. See if he asks for your opinion on what he is wearing. This means he cares about what you think and respects your opinion.
5. Make sure he really listens to you and not just letting you talk. You could do this by implying a joke about what you said a few days ago. If he laughs he probably remembers.
