How to Know If The Marriage is Over

A person will become aware their marriage is over when both the wife and the husband no longer have any feelings whatsoever for each other or when one spouse shows no respect or love for their mate. When two people stop communicating, quit having sexual relationships, conducting a personal relationship together, and there is no form of togetherness…consider the marriage is definitely over for one of them. Many marriage’s go stale because years have past and the two people have become strangers to each other and they share a home, children, and other things but they’re only existing and they have nothing in common with each other.

A marriage is over when one spouse goes one way and the other goes another way. They may speak once a week or when passing each other in the hall of their own home. There is no romance, sex, future plans, no compatibility, no communication, no togetherness and they live a life all their own. This happens in many relationships before married couples realize what has happened to their marriage relationship. One or the other doesn’t take any interest in their children nor their activities and the one spouse is pulling the load by themselves.

This is heart-wrenching to a spouse when their mate looses interest in them and their children and their home too. The spouse may realize they’re loosing touch with their mate, but in most cases, it’s to late to get it back on track. Once a mate starts going their separate ways they do not want to return to the life they once shared with their spouse. They’re use to going where they want and living as they so choose and they do not want to return to the hum-drum way of life that has been present in their marriage.

When a marriage looses it’s foundation, there’s no way to fix the missing blocks in that foundation. The two people should go their separate ways because if they go back together and try to make the marriage work, it will end up as it was before they left. Old habits are hard to break and some people do not want to change their way of life. A marriage without a foundation, love, communication, respect, compatibility, togetherness, loyalty, and desiring to have a good marriage will never survive and there’s no need to continue the marriage.
