Ideas for Date Night
Fun ideas for spending quality time with your loved one.
“Date Night” is an essential part of any relationship. It’s very important to spend that quality alone time with your significant other. There are many times that you run out of things to do, or money to spend…so I am going to give you some ideas…some are costly, others are on the cheaper to free side of things!!
Go Out to Eat
I know that going out to eat is kind of a given, but it’s extremely awesome when you don’t have to cook for one night. You can spend your energy talking instead of cooking and cleaning up!
Movie Night
Movie night is also a very ordinary thing. It’s pretty self explanatory…although you can spice things up a little… I know we are all adults now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wait for the lights to go down and make out with your hunny bunny in the movie theater! It will make you feel ten years younger!!
Movie Night (At Home)
Instead of going out rent some movies and stay home! You could even watch movies that you already own. Just cuddle up on the couch with some snacks and let your baby know you love them! You could even throw in some chit-chat afterwards!!
Go for a Drive
Instead of doing something extraordinary just jump in the car and go for a cruise! It’s very relaxing and if you turn off the radio, it gives you plenty of one-on-one talk time! You could even pull over for a little make-out session!! Once again you will feel so young!!
Midnight Stroll through the Park
Let your baby know just how much he/she means! Take them by the hand and walk side-by-side through the park or just around the block. You will be surrounded by beauty and peace… This will give you both some quality time together to appreciate eachother!
Make Dinner Together
Sit down and plan a meal together, go shopping together, and then prepare the meal together! You will get some awesome bonding time, and it tends to be so much fun!! Plus it lightens the load for the main chef in the house!!
Have a Picnic
Pack your sweetie a fabulous lunch, equipped with sandwiches and wine, grab a blanket and head on over to the park! Sit and chat about whatever your heart desires! You could even throw in a walk and maybe some old-fashion swinging!!
Go Ice-Skating
I know that not everyone can ice skate so you can substitute with roller-skating or roller-blading! Ice skating tends to shed the years as well! You can hold your lovers hand as you skate, it brings closeness! Be sure to couple skate as well!!
Read a Book
Choose something that interests both of you and read it together! This will give you something to do on a number of date nights! You can add this to another activity as well such as the picnic idea!
The One thing I urge you never to do for date night is an errand! Date nights are meant to be fun time spent with one another! Take advantage of that, and have fun! Bond, become closer, and fall in love all over again!!

Excellent article. very well done on this one. Makes a person wonder how many couples actually do things like this, I don’t think there are many. But then again you couples where the one partner does not show appreciation for what the other does. I love your work you have a great talent, don’t stop what you are doing.

These are great suggestions and a needed reminder in our busy, stressful world in which we often forget to take the time for relationships. Very well stated.

Great ideas; there are many ways to keep the romance going. Leave sexy little notes, inviting your partner to date night. Build up to the actual date night. Both will be ready, anxious and the sparks will fly!
