Is Love Important Anymore?

Love is a word that use to be taken seriously, but today that is not what people marry for.  Security is why many marry  today.  “What Does He Do For a Living”?  is what matters in todays times, women want to know that they will be protected and taken care of.  The independent woman is looking for more of a partnership an equal.  Not saying she is not looking for love as well, but more of a partnership.  She wants someone who can take care of business when she is down and vice verse. 

Financial harship is one of the main causes why relationships end in divorce.  What does that say about love?  If two people love each other financial harship should not be a problem if love and commitment is in the picture.  You pick up the pieces and deal with whatever comes you and your spouses way.  That is what love is in a  marriage, two people in it for the long haul.  So if you are thinking about saying those famous words”I do”, ask yourself am I doing this for love or security.
