Is Love Sweet?

It is amazing how a lot of people sing and talk about love. In all these talks and songs, love is presented as if it is something sweet without remedy. But when you look at the reality of love you wonder why people fall in love.Love is the one thing that is so much loaded with pain. Those who don’t want to feel pain will never love.
Starts with pain
The first day you fall in love, you have to go through the pain of letting the one knows about it. It is agonizingly painful if your loved one doesn’t understand; and that happens most of the times. It is very rare for people to accept love proposals just on first hearing. But the one who feels the love knows that it is a burden to carry. The thought of rejection is the other side of this coin. No matter how strong you are, if you are truly in love, you will not just gloss over being rejected by the one you love. Things are worse if you get to know that he/she is in love with another person.
Continues with pain
When love hurts, it hurts badly. Unfortunately love hurts more than it soothes. It is only loved ones who will do the worse things that you don’t expect people to do to you; yet you are expected to let it go. Although we let go because of the love, it is not easy just letting go some of those painful hurts. When an enemies hurt, you know that what they exist for. But love, how do you expect love to hurt? The surprise element in hurts from love makes the pain double.
Goes with pain
When love departs, it comes with pain. If you ever lost a loved one, you regret ever being in love. When love goes away, it takes along part (and that part is a huge part) of you away. That is what makes things like divorce so devastating. But there can never be divorce without some form of love in the beginning.
Can’t help but love
So love from the beginning to the end is pain. But can we stop loving? Despite the pain that comes with love, there are and there will be many who desire love. It is a part of human nature that cannot be thrown away. Keep loving.
