Understanding is a necessity in any relationship and it has to be mutual. Understanding is a sign of maturity and concern for your partner. You and your partner need to understand that the battle for survival is a necessity and if you must survive and live comfortably, you have to work to be able to pay your bills. Understanding of the nature of your job on the path of your partner goes a long way in keeping a healthy relationship despite your busy schedule. Like they say, there is no romance without finance.
Our mindset plays a vital role in all our endeavours, the outcome of our adventures begins from the mind. If you have a positive attitude that something will work, the chances of it working, are really high and vice versa. Believe that your tight schedule won’t result to a break up and that your work is for the good of the both of you. Don’t occupy your mind with thoughts of doom, because not only will it have a way of coming to reality, it will also affect the level of your efficiency at work.
Communication is the bedrock of every relationship and it helps you to keep a healthy relationship despite your tight schedule, through communication, feelings and grievances are expressed. It’s obvious you don’t have the time to be with the one you love but that doesn’t stop you from picking up your phone to say hello to him/her in the middle of your work. You can even send an e-card to that special person. It shows your sincere commitment to the relationship and gives your partner the assurance that you really care.
There will never be time unless you make out time. In the midst of your tight schedule, you can squeeze out a little time if you really want to. Remember, love is all about sacrifices. Your busy job doesn’t keep you occupied 24/7, does it? You still have time to do those little things which are very important to you. You can sacrifice that time you spend at the saloon to make your hair for ladies or that time you spend at the gym to look fit for guys, to be with your partner. Seeing each other face to face has a special feeling that the telephone can’t give you.
Trusting your partner goes a long way in keeping a healthy relationship despite your busy schedule. You are not always with him/her due to work, so there is the tendency of you being insecured and insecurity leads to allegations and constant fighting which is detrimental to your relationship. You just have to trust your partner as long as you can’t prove that he/she is

Social media can be a good way to drop notes and keep tabs on a partner too.
I know all about romance in a busy schedule. I wrote a song about it, a kind of answer to The Beatle’s “Eight Days a Week” called “A Couple Nights a Week.” Might speak to this situation.
Hope you enjoy!
