Laws of Attraction: Just Why Did You Fall in Love?

Perhaps you are married, perhaps not; you may be in a relationship or just out of it. Somewhere along the road we fall in love but never know the reason why, we never think about it. And even when we break up, the reasons may not be clear to us, and we find ourselves longing for the good old days.

Just why did you fall in love? What attracted you to him or her, why did you choose him and not the other one? Why did you choose to be with her and not the hot girl across your office block? This is one question we never bother to answer for like I have said before, sometimes love just happens.

But is it always so? Is it always a case of chance or are there some laws, some factors that determine attraction between different people? Do like poles always attract or do they repel when it comes to relationships? Who attracts who and what attracts what? Think about it. Here are some reasons why you might have fallen in love with him or her.

1. Honesty – Perhaps he or she is honest unlike anyone else you had met before. So many had lied and cheated on you but he or she came across as different. Could it be the reason? Perhaps, and again, perhaps not.
2. Looks – Come on, some faces are just unforgettable and you can’t ignore the fact that her eyes were rather magnetic or the idea of resting on his broad shoulders drove you crazy. Could it be her smile, his height, that physique?
3. Money – I know you can’t admit it, but come to think about it. Would you have married him or her if he was as poor as a church mouse? You know what I mean. Love does not put food on the table, or does it?
4. Voice – Believe it or not, a lot more people fall in love with nothing but the voice of another. Can you imagine a radio DJ snatching away your girlfriend or boyfriend? It happens!
5. Humility – Maybe it is just his or her nature, he is too good to harm a fly, or she is too naïve to want to cheat on you with another. Not everyone is that humble and you appreciated it.
6. Ambition – We all love achievers, people who want to better their lives, people who do everything to rise above every obstacle, every challenge, and every little failure, don’t we just love such?
7. Everything – Could it be that you were attracted by everything, looks, character, money etc. It might be rare to find all the good qualities in one man or woman but sometimes it happens that the man we love or the woman we are attracted to has it all!
