Leap the First Date Wall
Passing the first date is harder than getting the phone number. This is a series bring to mind some easy basics for dudes to close on their dream date.
Guys if you already got the date and you are meeting in a few hours then everything should be smooth sailing- negative
Dudes either, get lucky and have a date that wanted them no matter what or left with the task of having to make an impression and sell themselves. I’m just going to give some top pointers that can be used to keep your head above water (or eyes on the prize).
To start I don’t give any of that pick up artist magic. If you haven’t noticed they never show a video of that stuff working where you can hear what they are saying nor is it good for long term dating (or casual sex either, how long can you play the role). Each article will be brief and realistic. In the end all you need is the motivation to go for what you want.
The most important thing in the first date is approaching the girl with the same sexual energy and confidence or with increased sexual energy and confidence. If you got lucky on the number… then an increase is the plan. Remember from now on, the salutation is in the attitude and actions.
Part of this is being on time with the night planned out. If you don’t have a plan, keep it to yourself and act like you do. If she is late-cool- be indifferent or use it as ammo for an intro joke. Make sure you acknowledge her tardiness, don’t let a date get away with anything. You give up a lot of power like that- but don’t it a big deal, you lose a lot of sex like that.
Ice breakers should be a reflex response, anything they’re wearing, and anything around you anything at all is ice breaker material. You have to create a rapport with her to get anything from her.
Assume the night but don’t be a jerk about it. Make casual contact (waist and above and to the side, lean in to her neck to say things that don’t have to do with her.
Be yourself and keep the date about her. Keep her laughing and talking, keep obviously compliments for later in the date so they have greater impact.
