If you are in a long distance relationship it doesn’t mean you and you’re partner can’t have dates. You guys just have to be a tad more creative and broaden the definition of the word date.

1. Play a game
From checkers to poker, there are thousands of games to choose from that you and your partner can play on-line, together. Personally me and my boyfriend like to play poker and runescape together.
2. Video Night
Watch a movie together. If you guys are in the same time zone, pick a movie that’s on TV. If you aren’t you can always use netflix or rent the same movie. When me and my boyfriend do this we like to have Skype open so we can see and talk to each other.
3 Dinner
Call up a nice restaurant and have dinner delivered to them in your area an have them do the same. While you’re eating you can use Skype or talking on the phone to talk over dinner.
Dating and getting together is an essential part of a relationship. It gives you and your partner time to talk alone without the intrusion of friends. If you are in a long distance relationship you can still go on dates with these ideas!
