Looking for Love

We all type cast the people we date. We are attracted to different physical characteristics and we look for them in all or potential dates. The problem is a person’s looks don’t determine their character.

A player will almost always dress to impress, and say all the things you want to hear. A good woman or man may be overweight, not a fashionable dresser, not driving the best car, or may not say what you want to hear in a conversation. Some reasons they might get overlooked.

We all fall for the pretty pics and words, but where is the substance? It takes time to get to know a person. It won’t happen overnight.

The truth is the person you want to fall in love with is the one with morning breath, who passes gas, with messy hair, torn sweats, funky feet, a runny nose, and a bad cough. Who you will be happy to feed soup to, run to buy jock itch cream or tampons for, and clean up after when they throw up. It takes time to care about someone that much.
