Love: A Deeper Understanding

We were given:

Two hands to hold.

To legs to walk.

Two eyes to see.

Two ears to listen.

But why only one heart?

Because the other was given to someone else.

For us to find.

Many people say that love makes the world go ’round, that it makes life, so much more “interesting” and being dull without it. What is it with love that makes it the spice of our lives? What’s so special about a simple four-lettered word, that nowadays, start to be the center of the world; excluding God of course.

Love comes in different aspects and views, different meanings and different perspectives.

Here are some classifications of love;given with classical meanings and personal opinions:

Impersonal Love: This kind of love is commonly referred to “being in a state of admiration” to a certain object / event / place or the likes. On my side of the table, this kind of love may be co-related with “infatuation” since in this kind of love, there is more obsession that there is of feeling.

Interpersonal Love: This kind of love is the MAIN kind of love; the love of human beings to either of the opposite sex / a relative / or a friend. On my opinion, this kind of love it refers to those feelings of love that are not reciprocated. Interpersonal love is most closely associated with interpersonal relationships between 2 or more people.

So clearly speaking, there are two basic kinds of love in this world of ours, the Impersonal Love, and Interpersonal Love; and we all should know that these two kinds of love has its own differences and comparisons, Impersonal Love; is mainly felt by those who are bounded by things that are surrounding them, bounded by a link that prevents them to “get over” or makes them obsessed/attracted to a simple thing, simply because it may seem “attractive” to their sense of sight whilst Interpersonal Love is felt by those who are willing to do things not for themselves, but for the sake of someone they clearly think, is important in their own life, there is willing to give up things or change their own perspective about some facts, making the two main kinds of love different.

Now, let’s jump to some sayings about love, those that are taken into their entity by others who also think that love is so important in their lives…

“Love is an emotion or a unique feeling that cannot be defined in words. It makes everyone move forward in life, how much difficult the path may be. Love-sayings truly fills our heart and is our best choice to please our beloved whatever the occasion may be, be it Valentine’s day, a day-out with your beloved, a simple marriage proposal or a special day to bring a smile on your beloved’s pretty face.”

In this simple statement, it defines love as either an emotion or unique feeling, that cannot be defined by mere words alone; so as to say that, love has limited definition in this world of ours. Some know it by the tongue, some know it by the heart or mind, but whatever perception one person thinks of about love; we all know that all of us having this special feelings in us, that appears when one of our loved ones come near us and longs for them when they are far away from our arms.

“Meanwhile, these three remain; faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these, is LOVE”

This is a famous qoutation is taken from the bible. Now, what does this mean? It tells us simply that love could be a choice, or it could be a simple thought that was taken into our lives.

Overall, love has many definitions, not even one of us could clearly define this sort-of eerie feeling we have inside that give us the goosebumps whenever we see our loved ones, which give us the tinglies when we watch a romantic movie together with our special someone, which give the spice in our lives and each of us longing for another day for this “FEELING” to grow into a deeper understand. In my opinion, even if I did some explanations about love; overall, we should never try to define love; keep it a mystery, keep it under our skin to make it more special when it pops out… -Never desire to command love, as love; even as an emotion, is the one that commands you.-

Time Passes

People move like a river’s flow

It never ends

A childish mind will soon then blossom

To a deeper understand

An emotion deep inside about to unfold

A feeling that will continue to drive one’s thought
