Love and Honesty
by An idea, a concept that not everyone clearly realizes. I hope anyone that reads this and needs it, I hope it helps to seed the realization, if that is what you need.
If you want to fall in love, you can’t hold anything back. You have to be open and honest. With them and especially yourself. Sometimes you will be hurt, sometimes you won’t. But if you don’t try, you will never know. You will never be happy. The one you find may not be the person you expected to fall in love with but that won’t matter. You will love each other for exactly who you are.
How can you possibly love or expect to be loved when you are putting up fronts. You’re not loving someone and they’re not loving you. You are not being honest with them or yourself. Loving a lie, an idea. The emotion may be there but it is wrapped around an idea. The emotion is connected to things that aren’t part of you. Be clear and honest from the beginning. You must know yourself, love yourself and again, be honest with yourself before you can imagine giving yourself to someone else. Following this concept, really, how can you declare your love for a person that you do not know. You love all the things they want to be. Not the things that they are. And this make believe person is obviously better, right- otherwise, they wouldn’t be trying to create it. Accept yourself for who you are. Do yourself a favor and be who you are. You are probably a great person. But if you feel the need to hide things and lie, then you are not happy with yourself. It doesn’t mean you aren’t a great person, it just means that you aren’t happy with you and again, you can not possibly give yourself to someone else if you are not satisfied with you. Honesty is much easier than deceit. It is refreshing in life to have honesty and especially in a relationship. Who doesn’t seek love? Love=Happiness. We all want to be happy and loved. You can’t be either without honesty.
