Marry Me

You left without reason. You were gone before I even got up. You left me a note stating it was done, but I didn’t understand. I continued reading that you thought we weren’t meant to be. I wish I could have changed your mind. I have loved you from the first moment I looked into your deep eyes. I’m sorry I wasn’t good enough for you.. But now everything around me reminds me of you.. A few weeks past since you left.. I had read the note every night since you did. I still didn’t understand…

Then I get a call that said you were in an accident and was in the hospital in a coma. I cried right there, and with my eyes filled with tears I drove to the hospital. I asked for your name and they took me in your room.

There we were lying motionless. I felt so much pain, but I knew you were in worse shape than I was. I took your hand and said I never left you, I won’t ever leave you. Weeks then months passed by. I was with you every moment. I prayed to god countless times. Then one night.. when I went home to take a shower with you on my mind. I hear the door slam and I just wonder who that could be only I and you had a key to my place. I finish showering and get dressed. And there you were on my couch laying down.

I cried right there, I thought I was dreaming but right there you were. I was so happy yet very confused. You explained what happened. And I asked you that very night if you would marry me… and we lived happily ever after
