Men Know Love
Only men can make women feel extra special about herself.
It is a very sad thing that women think that men do not really know what love is. That men equate love as a toy or sex or a game. And for the past days, beginning when February came, I have read not one, not two or three, but at least a dozen articles about men being ignorant with love. Or men being insincere. Or men taking advantages. Or men being very mean…
Yet, I found no article making fun of women… Of how they act and say and feel… And of doubting them… In fact, it is even the contrary…
Men know about love. What they know must have been simply misunderstood and misjudged. So what do famous men and personalities got to say about love and its many facets?
King Solomon:
“I found the one whom my soul loves.” – Song of Solomon 3:4
“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.” – Song of Solomon 8:7
William Shakespeare:
“Now join your hands, and with your hands your hearts.”
“Love sought is good, but given unsought is better.”
“I’ll follow you and make a heaven out of hell, and I’ll die by your hands which I love so well.”
“One half of me is yours, the other half yours –
Mine own, i would say; but if mine, then yours,
And so all yours!”
“When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.”
Gautama Buddha:
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve you love and affection.”
“Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule.”
Nathaniel Hawthorne:
“Let men tremble to win the hand of woman, unless they win along with it the utmost passion of her heart! Else it may be their miserable fortune, when some mightier touch than their own may have awakened all her sensibilities, to be reproached even for the calm content, the marble image of happiness, which they will have imposed upon her as the warm reality.” – The Scarlet Letter

Hehe.. sapul ang articles ko dito. What many don’t know is I love my man dearly. But there still are obnoxious men… and obnoxious women. So kanya-kanya tayo ng turf. Good job speaking up for the men.
