Most Romantic Ways to Say I Love You
This is from both experience and what I’ve seen with my own eyes.
In Chicago, I was at the top of the John Hancock Observatory Tower around sunset. Down on the beach, a man was putting lights on the sand to glow in the dark. When he was finally done, it was night and the stars were out. The lights were lit, and they spelled out WILL YOU MARRY ME? It was probably the most romantic proposal I’ve ever seen.
Roses, chocolates, teddy bears. Those are classic givens. But little picture frames or a charm bracelet from Things Remembered is something that only you can give her. You could also leave a rose on the pillow beside her so the first thought on her mind when she awakens is how much you love her.
Now this one would be my dream come true. Christmas Eve, and you buy her a puppy. The puppy runs out, with a little red ribbon for a collar, and attached to it a diamond ring. Nothing could say I love you more than that.
If on vacation, you could surprise her with a private boat ride or something adventurous that she would love. You could plan a getaway with her and not tell her. For example, call up her boss, tell her she is going on vacation for a week, and set up clues to meet you at the airport. Nothing is more exhilarating than a surprise vacation.
If you just like staying home for the night, you could always make a scavenger hunt for her that leads her to all the places you shared special memories at. (ex: first kiss). At every clue, there could be a rose. And the last rose is in your hand.
