Need a Friend?
Understanding basic tenets of friendship.
Friendship is simply described as a situation in which one is emotionally attached to another person, resulting from feelings of affection. On another hand, it is a warm and intimate relationship with someone you like and trust. Friendship does not and ought not to involve any sexual interaction of any kind.
Friendship is a very important kind of relationship we form in life. Friendship affords individual the opportunity to know, trust and depend on each other for affection, acceptance and support. It is the first and most important relationship we establish outside the family.

(i) Mutual respect – relating with others with honour, personal values, understanding etc.
(ii) Accepting other people the way they are – Not attempting to change or impose your expectations on them.
(iii) Honest communication – Being truthful about the information you give them.
(iv) Consistent support for one another even when in distress.

(i) It creates an avenue for learning social skills.
