Oh How We Change

its late at night now,no more birds, for today anyway, and i just got off the phone with an friend. Oh how she has changed. Years do that to a person i guess, i know i have through a series of loves lost in life as well as death, careers changing sometimes by choice but maybe not. Through family struggles, relationship difficulties, births deaths and any number of financial struggles or successes, we will change.I am always amazed at the people who remain in the same relationships for years. They could be a love relationship, friendship and yes even family relationships. How on earth do they keep it alive, fun and exciting? or do they? are they really fun or is it just a habit? habits are formed over time. If you met that person today would you still love them? would your family if you had a choice be your family? I dont know, maybe i fear commitment, maybe i fear boredom but i like change, varied relationships, varied jobs. Unstable you say? maybe, but just maybe i dont wish to settle, or get bored, maybe i wish i were you with lifelong ties, but sometimes ties kill from being to tight.
