Privacy
I think couple should not keep secret from each other; but privacy is a whole different story.
Does couple have the rights to protect their privacy? Definitely! When it comes to personal space, I feel strongly about it. I think couple should not keep secret from each other; but privacy is a whole different story. There are things that each person prefers to keep to himself/herself. These are personal properties that could not be shared with anyone. This means other people (including spouse) should stay out and keep their hands off these properties where they don’t belong. This kind of particular property includes diary, and other sensitive items.
Imagine that you came home one day and realized your private thoughts have been invaded – your “room mate” just finished reading your diary. You felt humiliated and naked right in front of that insensitive, senseless, and rude moron. Not only this moron has intruded your privacy but also has stolen part of your soul.
These morons rob your privacy in different ways. They deny your right to protect your own confidentiality. Some snick their noses into your purse, personal items, your closet and even your underwear drawer. They make you feel like you are running an underground activity behind their backs and they want to run a background check on you. The bottom line is all of your belongings are revealed to the public and nothing from you is remained untouched.
Each of us has some degree of boundary. This designated area is restricted because it contains a special memoir that records the details of one’s private thoughts and memorable experiences. It represents one’s own identity. Encroaching upon this territory should be a crime.
