Very interesting article. I think I partially agree with the article and partially with the last comment – I think love CAN happen with anyone, but I do think these are positive reasons to marry a foreigner. But I think you find positive reasons to marry whoever it is you’re in love with

Love can happen with any one, it may be with a foreigner or our own country men or women, I don’t think there is any positive reason to marry a foreigner

Marrying a person of a different culture results in beautiful children who have no idea what there race, religion or country is!! That gives them a head start in the new global world!!

You are right lilyrose, I forgot to mention the love factor but that is the most common and happens for sure when the two people are in the same country. You are also correct about spending more time in a relationship.

A very well placed article. However you never really mentioned love as being the top hit to marry and to give foreign girls the cast off Casanova made me laugh. I agree that the internet and faster travel have made it easier for all cultures to meet easier and if you meet someone and ‘gel’ and that leads to marriage then great, but lets not discount the fact that you could be spending 50+ years with that other person.
