Relationship 101: Do Opposites Attract?

Seriously, opposite attraction works. Men and women in the first place are very dissimilar with each other. They are different species with no similar characteristics but the urges to connect and to sexually arouse each other are big. The great advantage of opposite attraction is very appealing. They always fight with each other; they make trouble and quarrel even up to the smallest thing. But, what is the beauty behind it is that they will always work things out. Other couple find it as an adventure in the relationship and some couples find it crazy and unconventional. These unconditional couple will try to understand each other even though there are disruptions in the process.

As chemistry and biology is concern, there’s always a link that this two will always fight about balance and life. Chemistry’s focus is to balance about two components or structure while biology is to study about how to sustain life and life itself. (Okay, forget about biology and chemistry) But, as what I said if you understand why I compare the relationship with these two subjects, you will understand what I mean.

Relationship is an experimentation process. Psychologists are still studying about the human condition why men and women are different from each other. Why other relationship will work and other relationship goes sore. In some context, feelings and emotion are the main reason why a man and woman which is truly opposite with each other are still living together. However, not all cases will work this way. Compromises are the key when a non-sporty girl will have a relationship to a very sporty guy. If she like to watch the “Desperate housewives” and he keep on switching to the sport channel, both of them should play the so called “fair game”. It depends on the couple on how they try to communicate with each other.

There are Two C’s on how this relationship will work out. These are very essential ingredient to make the relationship, harmonious and everlasting.

Communication

This is important in every relationship. When both of you are very clear with each other, you can always maintain a healthy relationship.

Compromise

As I mentioned above, this is also essential to make the relationship smooth. The way to compromise is to communicate effectively with a good motivation from both sides.
