Sharing an Ipod

Sharing an iPod, can it be done? Good idea or bad?

When it comes to music everyone has their own style and in this day and age iPods are the carriers of our musical libraries. So what happens when you try sharing an iPod with your spouse? Two people, most likely with two different music preferences, may think that sharing an iPod sounds like a recipe for disaster but the can be some hope in this situation. iPods are an amazing invention. You have the ability to load tens of thousands of songs and hours of video into one pocket sized piece of equipment. Most of the time one persons musical library isn’t enough to fill and iPod on their own. Depending on which model you have the idea of sharing is a more open one. With all of the space availability sharing can be a very simple and easy thing to do. Even though there might be a big difference in musical tastes, as long as you are respectful and considerate the prospect of sharing shouldn’t be a problem. To help ease some of the tension setting a schedule of who has the iPod when might help. For example, you can switch of every other day who has control, one could even have it for working out while the other has it in the car for the drive to work or whatever else you might want or need it for. Another helpful tip might be to use the shuffle option when listening together, this way there can’t be an arguement of always having to listen to the other persons music. However you decide to divide the use of the iPod, the concept of sharing alone is a very possible one. The actual success on the other hand depends entirely on you as a couple and how you work together. With this in mind there should be no reason why sharing an iPod should be a difficult thing to do. Instead, see it as a way to become closer, opening one another up to different styles of music that they or you might have never had the chance to hear.
