What is Speed Dating?

Employed or working men and women who are in search of companions register themselves at the speed dating centers after paying a certain fee. Thereafter, everyone is given a token on which his or her name and a certain number is written.

Every participant has to fill his or her own data and address on this card. After this, every registered female member sits at a separate table as per her token number. Then every young man takes his place in front of a young lady if his number matches with hers. Each couple is given only 30 minutes to evaluate the person sitting opposite. After this, every participant writes his or her opinion of the other person on a card. The organizer plays a special part now.

If a couple’s interests match, they are provided with each other’s phone number and e-mail ID so that they can remain in touch later on.

In a gist speed dating is a new era notion which is gaining vast popularity due to its speedy results but it still lacks the love, bonding and affection of a serious relationship.
