Starting Over with Online Dating
I want to share my experiences with online dating, it’s been awhile since I have dated so trying this “new thing” out…did you know that one out eight marriages are from online dating? Not that I want to get married again, but because of my last two experiences, see article, I think its best to share so people like myself are prepared.
I am in my forty’s and haven’t dated for quite some time, …a couple of years :0 spoke to a few of my friends who are on this on line dating site, stated its been an experienced, actually one of them is doing well with her handsome, bald man from Europe…and to just have fun with it..gave me some pointers stating don’t worry about replying back, they may email you again if you don’t stating that you are this or that, just delete them…wow, okay not so easy…you feel like you have to reply back or something, like you owe them for contacting you…I am a woman, so wonder if it works the other way too or do women could care less, I know if I tried contacting someone and they didn’t reply back or just deleted my email, I would move on…are men that much different then women? Well…the search goes on and on, literally, I have joined two sites, one with the name “fish” on it and the other with “sugar”…anyway, I have been on two dates and well one was going okay until he stated he is disgusted with “pork”, I am a Pacific Islander and well, the pork wins…the other guy, went on a lunch date, literally, like a small mom and pop diner, known for the hamburgers, I believe both of our meals cost $10 bucks…and he looks at the receipt, thinks a little bit, and asked me to take care of the tip!!!!…are you kidding me…I rather had paid for the whole bill…but I stay cool and collected and in my head I am stating, “sure honey, tip, no problem…you freak! Gentlemen, why take a girl out if you can’t afford it?…if I was forewarned, maybe if he asked me to go out and we agreed on a dutch date, sure, I am prepared…I would of had $3 bucks instead of me having to line up behind him (freak) and get change for a twenty!…how embarrassing to have the waitress thank me instead….So I leave the premise and what does every girl, female, woman do…call their girlfriends!…well, it was such a good laugh, they said, start a blog…anyway…so this is my first blog…new to this, but I think I will enjoy telling all about my adventures of dating

Dutch Date! That is so awesome! That happen to me but he asked if we should just split the bill after we finished eating. I just said OK… I almost purposely left the house with out my wallet, but i needed gas money.
I did the online dating thing for about 6 months. I went out with a guy and ended up liking him. But the more I got to know him I realized he was an arrogant jerk and it needed to end asap.
On another date we went out and it started with coffee at Starbucks, then dinner at Champs Sports Bar, then we decided to see a movie. Well I drove us both to the movie and it was winter out and I slipped on the ice getting into the car. Flew right on my back, it was so funny now that I think about it…so getting back to the date, when we got into the car, he kissed me but then he started sucking on my bottom lip…weird right??? Please any male reading this don’t do that it’s not something you do on a first kiss.
