We will use some pieces of paper to encourage and invite a bit of passion and romance in your life in just 5 days.

As coach of success in life I’m not calling myself an “expert” in this and draw attention to some alarming statistics: 67% of first marriages end in divorce over a period of 40 years. Half of all divorces occur within the first 7 years. That means many of these marriages had a chance if it could have managed to keep their love alive. You can plant a garden and back in three months waiting for an abundant harvest and therefore not fully do the same with marriage. Invest a few pieces of paper in a more passionate relationship.

Let’s start with 5 pieces of colored paper, torn or cut into small sizes greeting cards or gift cards. Using your best handwriting copy an appointment later in the paper (or write on a blank document on your computer to print, cut and paste later).

Here are some great quotes sweet love and a couple of excerpts from poems:

  • A hundred hearts would be too few to carry all my love for you. Unknown
  • Grow old with me! The best is yet to come. Robert Browning
  • Let your love be like the rain, coming softly, but flooding river. Malagasy Proverb
  • How I love you? Let me count the ways,
  • I love you with the depth and breadth and height,
  • My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight,
  • For the purpose of being and ideal grace. William Butler Yeats
  • Come live with me and be my love, and we will some new pleasures prove of golden sands and crystal clear beaches, with silken lines and silver hooks … John Dunne

Once you have created the cards now is the time to get “crafty” and hide them in and around where your partner is.

Suggestions: sneak one in your wallet or purse, a place under the pillow, add one to your lunch bag, put one in the toothpaste or medicine cabinet or in the visor of your car, etc. Do not hide so good that you will find, but try to get the cumulative effect of a “discovery day.

Day 6? Well, that depends on you, eh? Perhaps top of the series with a dinner by candlelight or a bouquet of flowers – a diamond ring is nice, too, but. . .
