Ten Things to Do Before You Die
I know we have been faced with this topic every now and then. But how many of us have given it, serious thought?
I did, after my blood test, yesterday.
Was feeling queasy yesterday so I made an appointment with my GP. I don’t visit doctors. It is too anxiety provoking an experience for me. But I am 38 and have a strong family history of diabetes so…Well so, so I was down with flu and it just wouldn’t get better so I did the thing I always dread-made an appointment with my GP.
My pressure was a little high and the nurse told me that they had to do the other routine tests which required my blood sample. “I don’t like to be pricked”, I said to her and thought to myself,”Who does?”
Anyway, on my way home, I thought: what if the blood reports show me to have some fatal disease and I could be dying sooner than expected. What would I do?
Here’s my list:
1) Tell my mother I love her.
2) Try and sort out my relationship with my partner.
3)Clean out the cupboards-clear the junk.
4)Write notes to my best friend.
5)A long love letter to my kids.
6)Have a food feast.
7)Have “sex for sex sake!”
8)Make my funeral arrangements.
9)Write a will.
10) Say goodbye to as many people as I can.
Adeus!

Interesting. By the way, check out herballegacy.com. There is a herb for everything and they have testimonials too. The work of Dr. John Christopher on that site is astounding to say the least.

i think the most important thing is be there for your family and friends, enjoy the arts and the beauty of nature. I will be sad if i know i am to die before i meet my true love.

Ooooh – I’ll have to make my list. Most of it’ll be places I want to go before I die, methinks!!!
