We all want to be in love. It feels great. We can not make it happen, but we can be ready for it when it does. Here are a few things you can do to be ready when you meet that special person.

A. Accept. Accept the fact that there is someone out there for all of us. Accept the fact that you deserve to meet that special someone as much as anyone. You also have to accept its not going to happen unless you put yourself out there to meet that special person. You may get lucky and fall in love with the pizza man, but for the most part you have to go where people are. Most of all you have to accept yourself, as much of a cliche as it is.

B. Be happy and confident. Happy people attract people to themselves. Nobody wants to be around gloomy people, including you. Find reasons in your life to be genuinely happy, and you will in turn attract happy people to you. It sounds like more cliches but everybody has reasons to be happy. Find yours. And smile. Smiling goes a long way in life. There are enough miserable people out there that if you are happy, when that special someone comes along, they just might notice you. People like happy people.

C. Commit. Commit to the whole thing. Commit to being happy, commit to being ready, commit to it all. If you take just a few steps in your life, then you can find love if thats what you want. It means being committed to change, and committing to that love when you find it.

The bottom line with the whole thing is put out a positive attitude for the opposite sex. Be happy about who you are, and what you are, your positivity will stand out in the sea of negativity out there. Open yourself up, and be ready. It may be a day, a week, a month or longer, but that special person is out there waiting for you.
