Are you a first timer to a on line dating service,well i am not here to discourage you just merely to point out a few well known facts about the doe’s and the dint’s.Its like a whole new world being offered to you at the press of a button ,exciting and full of mystery.Yep if you are not careful your emotions and your wallet can go for a major roller coaster ride.Unfortunately they can’t filter out the scams but we can make sure that you can avoid them. Here’s a few tips:

1. stay on the on line dating site until you have a fair idea how genuine he/she is.
2. do not disclose your name/residential address/ph/cell/assets/email/yahoo etc.
3. check out his/her profile and keep notes.Most pro-filers whom are genuine will fill out everything ,after all thats the purpose of a profile.
4. for bad grammar/miss understandings/avoidance in answering a question with another.
5. Avoid poems and bible scripts of undying love and compassion,i mean if you like that sort of thing sweet but they generally use these methods to get  on your vulnerable side .
6. Make sure at all times to never let your exact where abouts be known and that goes for your children as well safety is upmost for you and them.
7. wow the orphanage scam/nigeria if your chatting with this person , pull the plug end of story.
8. photos and profile can differ in many ways, take notes most scammers do not match there profile and vice versa.
9. watch out for that temper as most scammers will get sharp in there opinions if you are not comforming to there needs or line of questioning.
10. Don’t give up hope once you get the hang of it you will have a pretty good idea who is genuine and who are the fakes.

And i guess the big question is how do i know all this! I am a first timer and have encountered these types of people and no i did not lose a cent and my heart is still intact and still looking.
