I dream and pray for finding my true love in time. I may only be 14 but I watched too much chick flicks for my age
I’m hoping high school would be an answer to my prayers. I’ve liked a girl for 1 year but she didn’t like me back so I’ve moved on. I guess I’ll go with you tip of: “Do not give a second chance to anyone that has ever teared you down or rejected you in the past.”

Wow! You make some very good points. You mention that once you have been rejected don’t give that person a second opportunity because the feelings don’t ever change. I had a guy in my life who fell in love with me at least that is what he said. I didn’t like him at the time. I guess you can say that he wasn’t my type. Two years later, we started working together and my feeling towards him started growing. Till this day, I am very much in love with him. We did go out in the past, but he never let me in. His rejection hurts me very much, but I guess maybe revenge is sweet after all.Only when I got to know him I started loving him. But, rejection is a part of life. You only grow stronger. So, back to your point. Now I realize why this guy doesn’t want anything to do with me anymore. Actions do speak louder than words. Okay so how do you know if you really are in love with someone? The heart can be deceiving. Sometimes you have to put that relationship to a test. Time is the best factor. Do you miss each other when you haven’t seen that person nor spoken to them in a long time? For me, love is more than just chemistry. you are attracted to that person physically, intellectually and emotionally. you are so happy when you are together and you just want to be with that person and nobody else. You accept the person for who they are. Thanks for writing such a good article. You seem like a very confident guy. marlene

Finding true love is like finding the holy grail. Some take a lifetime, but when they do find the one, it is worth the wait. I agree that feelings just grow more and more intense with the one you love. Nice thoughts here.

yeah that is in fact true but also you may love someone but never be with that person. additionallly people should take the time out to get to know someone. for me personally when i fall in love with a man i know because his face is always where my heart goes to whenever i am awake or alone. so wherever your mind goes when you are idle that where your heart is.

Finding true love is definitely a hard task. I gave up on finding true love a long time ago, after my last failed relationship. It would be wonderful to find a soul mate though. When people fall for each other, they should make sure they have the same likes and dislikes, and can stay in a relationship until the end.
