The Key to a Fulfilled Relationship

DISHONESTY AS A RELATIONSHIP CRUMBLER.

THE KEY TO A FULFILED RELATIONSHIP

In the society, we relate to one another as friends, lovers, spouse, staff members, families etc. These are certain relationships we can be involved in at a particular point in time. In any of these relationship, respect, love, trust, care, admiration and other feelings that strengthen relationships come in play. But in the presence of all these, the absence of a particular one can ruin every other effort.

Honesty is the simple virtue of sincerity, truthfulness, uprightness, clarity and transparency. When this is lacking in any relationship, it will crumble. No matter how you love our spouse or friend and you suddenly discover that he or she has a dishonesty syndrome, problem erupts, trust flies away and the love you have for such, begins to dwindle.

Dishonesty or lying is a very great obstacle to a happy relationship. It takes relationships to their early graves without fulfilling its destiny. There is nothing that can bring shame to someone than dishonesty. It destroys ones image before everybody because such person becomes a plague in the society. It gives one a stigma that is very hard to fade. It makes you unreliable, untrustworthy and brings your integrity to the zero percentage. It stirs up the feeling of disgust in the hearts of people against such a person.

In every relationship, especially love relationships, many partners have left themselves because of lying. Before I entered into any relationship then, I will always hammer it into the head of my partner, how I hate dishonesty with my blood and if I discover any atom of dishonesty, we will scatter.

Building a relationship on dishonesty is like building a house on sand which will definitely crumble but unfortunately, many relationships at this part of the world is started with lies and deception. They will keep on deceiving themselves until one day, they expose themselves somehow.

A young man, who promised a lady that he would marry her along the line, during courtship, discovered that the lady is synonymous to lying and that was the end of the relationship. Sometimes, I can’t help imagine what it profits because when you are discovered, the after taste is never honourable.

Honesty is always good even if it will hurt. The effect is not always, bitter as discovering dishonesty. There is nothing as being truthful to your partner no matter what. It earns great trust. There are some people that if their partner tells them that they are at place A, they will never believe. This is usually as a result of a trust betrayed earlier by dishonesty. And when a former trust has been destroyed, it is always hard to build it back. So why not avoid creating room for that at all?

Honesty is not harmful but rather prevents a lot of unhappy incidence in the future. Even at the place of work or in the family, if you are known for dishonesty, you are in for a rough ride. You cannot be trusted with a sensitive and serious affair.

Honesty is what every relationship needs to attain its destination. Why destroy yours today with dishonesty?
