The Truth About Love

Love is one of the things that is being introduced again and again to the world as a solution in finding world peace. Love grows from a standard friendship and blooms to a mature emotion that will soon conquer the hatred inside one person and that emotion will be spread to the society as willingly as that person would do.

At our own century, love has many meanings ranging from appreciation to intimate relationship based on the state of mind of a certain person. But the main topic about love is the infatuation to the opposite sex, or the affection shown by the boy to a girl(vice versa).

At the total state of love, it is a fairly complicated and abstract puzzle in which you may remain stuck or continue to move on, depending on the way you take in or receive the affection from someone you like or you dislike.

Love at it’s best is one of the most complicated things in the world, boys may come to think that love is just a silly emotion and that girls are just toys, and this has been concluded fairly wrong and depressing. Because at this very moment of time, children and/or teens are fairly easy to become infatuated to the opposite sex thus bearing a trauma if they get hurt or if they are not that appreciated by the one’s they really adore.

There are many proverbs about love that give a truly different meaning to it, one of these is the song of the Beatles: “All You Need is Love”, but the fact is no other person can live with love alone, because without true reasoning, this affection may become affliction in a matter of seconds. This explanation, however, is contradicted by a verse in the bible saying “Meanwhile, these three remain; faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love”, thus making a valid explaination why the Beatles’ song had a world wide meaning and many avid fans have been struck silent by this song.

Another basis of love is this biblical verse: Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres, this is one of the best explanations of the complication of love and has been given a praise in certain countries including the Philippines.

On scientific basis, love is just the fast-paced rising of the adrenaline of a person, wherein the hurt pumps more blood than usual and the hypothalamus is the most functional part of the brain and the logical thinking is blocked by the lessened flow of blood.

At the moment, love has still many questions wherein many answers are yet to be found, but one thing is for sure, love is the main reason why we still have connections and this is the main reason why we don’t understand the fact of a stable relationship.
