The Us Survey: Get Closer to Friends, Learn About Yourself

I created “The Us Survey” in sixth grade that has helped me get closer to my friends and learn more about myself over the years. To this day, I get e-mails from friends who found old surveys while rummaging through their things. They are always amazed at how much we have changed and how our relationship has grown.

I’ve added, changed, and removed many questions each year and this is the best edition of the survey ever. While some questions are to-the-point, many are open and allow you to explore your friendships and even exercise some of your favorite inside jokes. (The Spider-Man & Wolverine question itself is an old injoke.)

This survey will reveal lots about any relationship because it’s different from other surveys–you don’t fill it out about yourself! Instead, your friends fill it out about you. I suggest filling it out about a friend first, sending it to them, and having them return the favor. (But any way you like works, too.)
