Three L’s to Maintain Good Intimate Relationship

Why do married couples got divorced even after decades of being together? What are the usual reasons of break-ups? Some to be mentioned of are: having 3rd parties involve, boredom, monetary problems, distorted body figure, impotence, and long distance relationship.

For my 22 years in this life, I already observed enough realities of couples in relationship. As they tackle years, more and more challenges tempt to break them up. Some could survive but most couldn’t overcome especially when the strength of their foundation is not enough to protect the vows.

With my keen observation, I made and suggest this 3 L’s of a relationship to be maintained of. On the highest rate, it should be the presence of LOVE. It’s tough to distinguish between love and affection. It takes time, heartaches and sometimes distance to find out if a particular feeling is love or not. Love is when Care prevails more than other selfish emotions.

What’s the next “L”? Let me give you some clues, this usually started to break by the weakness of our sight and sexual desires. First thing that could be lost is the Trust. Trust is presently perfect as long this “L” from both parties could be kept on. Should it be LOYALTY? Well, certainly yes.

How about this 3rd “L”? It is simply LUST. Human in nature love and needs sexual activities or sexual intercourse but it should be based of Love and with respect.  Absence of Lust towards your partner could lead to boredom and sometimes a reason to seek 3rd party. Irony? Well, it’s a matter of fact.

Always be careful not to let the Lust prevail over Love. After all, it’s not all about sex and kissing but simply a company and happiness that you shared with of being together.
