First of all, woman as a generalization all share a couple of concepts. Now you may ask yourself, why do I like this woman over all the other chicks out there? Well, its for the simple fact that she charms you and you find her DIFFERENT from all the other girls, therefore she will create an attraction in you which may take a while to diminish.

Now, to refer to my question, woman may tell you that they like you and they do not have to use words to let you know. You can tell by her body language towards you and you will also notice if you pay close attention, she will prefer you over others and she may salute you often, so often she will look for you you would not really need to even look for her.
