My colleague always harbors the wrong attitude. She believes herself a victim of fate. Her poor attitude has resulted in poor work performance.
That is why she has the least salary increment, and the most pay cut when the business is not doing well.
I learn the following lessons about the universal law of attraction.
Universal law of attraction: Be specific about you want
I find that many people do not really know what they want.
When they are jobless, they want a job. When you ask them what kind of job they want, they just say any job will do.
However, when the jobs come, they turn down the offer or accept the job unhappily. They complain so much that the boss has to terminate them.
Some of the complaints include low salary, dirty work, distance from home and others.
They really must blame themselves since they do not specify the kind of job they want.
Universal law of attraction: Time
Some of my friends start to practice the universal law of attraction. They want to buy an apartment of their own. They want a new and cheap public apartment.
After a few months, they give up. They feel that the universal law of attraction does not work.
In Singapore context, single person cannot get a new and cheap public apartment. The rule of home ownership is very clear on that. The only thing we can do is to wait until there is a change in the rule of public housing.
That is why timing is a very important factor. There is no way we can expect the universal law of attraction to change the government policies to suit our needs in just a few months. After all, the policies have been in place for so many decades.
Universal law of attraction: open your mind to opportunities
The best things in life sometimes come in disguise. You need to open your mind to the opportunities presented by the universal law of attraction.
If someone tries to introduce you to new ideas, and you shut him up by saying it is impossible. You are closing your mind to riches.
You need to change your mindset. Learn to ask questions. Learn to analyze the workability of the new concept before you say it is impossible.
If the original idea is impossible, can you modify the method to make it work? You do not need to dismiss the whole idea. A slight modification can generate wealth for you.
