Venus Between the Sheets – Love, Sex and Relationships.

Some notes on Love and Relationships relating to Venus positions. Discover the pros and cons of all positions and some advice on how to use them for personal benefit. Co-written by Wilma Proops.

Venus in Sagittarius

Completely wild at some point in their lives. They discover sex and really go for it. This can be damaging in the wrong environment – it’s the sort of thing that rich kids can cope with but most will have problems with. This is all down to the perspective of these natives and unfortunately I don’t have sufficient research about it. (Please add a comment if this is you). It seems they end up doing some kind of penance and staying with a partner who loves them but they cannot return this feeling. Instead they turn to other means to work their penance out.

Venus in Capricorn

These are the natives who discover sex in their 40s. They can’t see what all the fuss is about up until then. I’ve seen this so often and it always cheers me up. Those marriages that seem somehow reborn, those women that improve with age, those people for whom life begins (forgive the clichés) are most likely to have this position.

Venus in Aquarius

Marry early, divorce. Marry again before 30 divorce. Marry in their 40s and sometimes divorce. This position would greatly benefit the polygamist male. They are more likely to end up single but that’s because they never learn to share. This is a shame because when they do they can have wonderful worthwhile lives full of fun and laughter. They have a problem though and this is they are afraid of people who tell them that they love them. It’s like they have a script programmed and unless their ideal partner can find it and rip it up – I don’t know how – they’ll have to find another.

Venus in Pisces

Frantic to find the one and only. This can be a sad Venus position. They seem destined to find true love and lose it through tragedy unless they realise a few things, which considering the lives they have, you’d think they would. Any planets in Pisces need to be worked out – I’m still debating why – but I see this all the time. These natives need to remember all physical life is temporary as soon as possible so they can address their belief systems and start celebrating the temporary nature of physical life. Anything Pisces needs spirituality in my experience. Another thing to remember is that tears can isolate them. I’ll be frank, people often find them tearful embarrassing, hard work or both. What is natural, particularly for those with Pisces Sun, Moon or Venus is difficult for those without these positions to understand or even relate to. Saying that, natives with this position sorted are sensitive, empathetic and good at seeing outcomes. They make the best friends for all of us.

I think you have described the venus in taurus perfectly!! It’s both a blessing and a curse!

I understand that Wilma Proops runs the ONLY Comedy Problem Page in the world – I don’t recall the exact location but if you google her there are plenty of references

Hey Dudes, this AndAnotherThing sure knows a thing or two! I’m reading all her stuff. My Hollywood buddies are all impressed with my new topics of conversation – hell, I’ll have to tell them I get it all from the pen (or is it pens?) of AndAnotherThing. Keep up the writing AndAnotherThing – I don’t want to run out of new and interesting things to talk about.

I must admit that my husband (God love him) has a Leo Venus! Have you, by any chance, met him? I wouldn’t be surprised both Wilma Proops and Gilbert (my husband) are notorious Mayfair bar lushes. Don’t you just love them both? XX Clem

My organisation used to employ Wilma Proops as a recruitment consultant. She produced natal charts of all applicants and selected the candidate most suitable to the profile we required. Of the 18 key members of staff we now employ 12 have been with the company for more than 5 years and all of these were taken on upon the advice of Wilma Proops. The woman is a genius!

My dear lady – you should stop writing such alarming material at once. The internet is an uncontrollable tool, a tool which should be removed from the prolls at all costs! Long may democracy (after the Greek model) reign!

My Venus is in Aries and I cab confirm I’m an energetic lover. I wear all my men out (and that’s putting it very politely)

    Dear Jane in Falmouth,

Jane – I was most upset that you felt you should leave the comment above. Today, while mulling over this article and deciding on modifications (in light of my most recent research and findings) it crossed my mind that you were actually a disgruntled client. Indeed, upon looking at my clients and consulations for July 2008 I cam across some correspondence with a Rebecca of Falmouth. I now utterly believe that this Rebecca is you and, although I wouldn’t sink to your method I can understand its motivation.

Get over it Jane/Rebecca – I was right to point out your shortcomings (as suggested by your chart). The idea is that you reflect in these and make any changes to accomodate them.

    Yours utterly truly

I agree with Jane Foulmouth, this is sort of rubbish, although I guess I don’t totally agree with her since I don’t believe it’s utter rubbish, just sort of rubbish.

I can assure you I am no past client, I do not even reside in the States, however I have in the past year or two become delightfully curious in astrology. I have read plenty of venus sign explanations. My venus is in Leo and the explanation you provided lends most of itself to the practice of mooning. What the hell is that? Although it made me laugh a little, it gave me no insight into myself or the way the planets affect me whatsoever.

And Also, I would be willing to bet that you or someone you are dear to is a Taurus venus given the beaming description of it. Try balancing your descriptions out with positive and negative aspects for each sign. Then the rest of us won’t feel so bad.

Mooning is the sport of baring one’s arse in public places. I do not have my Venus in Taurus. Venus rules Taurus and Libra so it stands to reason she is going to feel at home in either.

These Astrology articles are supposed to make you laugh (particularly references to Uranus) and provoke comment. I stand by my assertions about those with Leo in Venus but accept that other plantetary positions might weaken (or strengthen) tendencies.

    Thank you for your comment

I can appreciate the work that went into this but it is rubbish. The generalizations are comical and do not really provide insight into love, sex, and relationships.

I am venus in pisces and found most of the statements false.

You are just stating your opinions and giving advice. “They need to realize this, this is sad, etc.”

\”Idiots take things seriously\” according to Wilma Proops who wrote this piece when she was sloshed, so if the cap fits… But, as Wilma Proops often remarks \”many a true word spoken in jest\”.

You want to add comments to articles which really need critics – some of the right wing filth for examples.

“Loads of rubbish packed around some rarely pointed out truths” – that’s what someone said about this article recently. I have to agree.
