Ways to Rekindle Your Love Life
Helpful hints on how to bring back the passion and excitement to couples’ love lives.
Love life is not always about sex. I work fulltime and have been married for nearly 8 years and have a 4 year old child and a newborn so I don’t have much time spare at the moment. I feel that married couples or people that live together sometimes get lost in their day to day lives and forget why they are together in the first place.
Below I have listed a few helpful ways on how to remind your partner and yourself that you love each other.
It Started With a Kiss

Kissing is lovely but it is probably one of the last things that couples remember to do. It takes a nanosecond to do (or even longer if you like) but the feel good factor lasts all day. When you get up in a morning, lean over and give a kiss. You wouldn’t leave the house in a morning without washing your face or brushing your teeth so why should you leave without kissing the person you have just laid next to for 8 hours. Also what I find very nice and warming are the ‘unexpected’ kisses, the ones when my husband just comes over whilst I’m peeling the veg and slaps one on my forehead and then walks away.
Finders Keepers

This is great way to add a bit of fun to the day. This is especially nice if you have gone to the extra effort of buying a gift for your partner. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive or even very exciting but finding it makes it special. Hide the gift in a place e.g. in a cupboard, in the washing machine, under the stairs). Then, get yourself a starting place such as the bathroom mirror and leave a clue written on a piece of paper to guide your partner to the next clue. This brings humour to you both especially you watching your partner try and solve the clues and then go to the next one. Stick them around the house but hidden so as not to give away where the next clue is and then finally have the last clue take them to where you have hidden the gift. The look of satisfaction on their face for solving all the clues and finding their gift is great.
