There is a simpler explanation – again biological – a woman can produce one child every nine months (plus a little recovery time
) while one male can impregnate many, many women in that same time frame. Thus population growth is limited by the number of females. So in order to ensure the maximum continued growth of the population you save the females first since you only need a couple of (very busy) males.
It’s like with hunting deer – it’s the stags that get hunted not the does.

YEAH
More stupid male-bashing.
Me and other men I know have never felt it was our destiny
to fight each other for a female. We are not queer either.
“The need for the male is insignificant after he procreates”-
That thinking is so much of what is wrong with our society today.
Why don’t you read about statistic of kids coming up in a home
without the dad how they are more prone to be drop outs, do drugs, teen pregnancy, etc.
You are another one of these “men” out here (and there are so
many) that keeps his tail tucked between his legs on any matter concerning women. I don’t say abuse or treat women as
second class people, but on the other hand I’m not going to be
abused, disrespected, or deemed “disposable” just because I’m a male.
