Wedding vs. Marriage
Investing in the Marriage Not just the Wedding!

Everyone dreams of their wedding day, at least every girl does. It’s that special day when she has chosen her prince charming and is finally being swept off her feet and begining her fairytale life. The problem is, people pay so much emphasis on that magical day and nobody invests in the ever after.
People invest so much in d wedding which is just a day or maybe two, rather than the marriage which is supposed to be a lifetime.
Yes your wedding day should be the happiest day of your life and you should invest in making that possible, but also there are a few tips to consider for investing in the marriage itself.

Make sure you and your partner have common goals.Don’t enter a marriage thinking you can change a person or their way of thinking. You do not have to have the same mindset with your significant other, but when it comes to certain major aspects of the future you need to have similar goals,or ideas of what you want, not necessarily identical but similar. You should be open with each other and talk about the future and not just expect things to fall into place magically.
Make sure you have a strong level of communication with each other. Its really important to be able to talk to the person you are going to marry openly and freely. Sometimes people enter into a marriage thinking that love is enough to pull them through, but there is so much more to a marriage than just the feeling of love. You and your partner need to make sure you are both ready to take the journey together. Love is beautiful, but coupled with communication and understanding, it can be magical.
Do not have unrealistic expectations going into marriage. Some people go into marriage thinking that its all going to be a bed of roses, and do not prepare for the challenges that come with it.Yes marriage is a beautiful thing if shared with the right person, but also it is hard. You have to work and invest to make it work, just like anything else you want to be succesful in life, you have to work to make it right. So yes marriage is beautiful but make sure your expectations of the fairytale of marriage are realistic and you shall have your happily ever after.
