What Goes Around, Comes Around

The whole issue eventually died down.  People stopped talking, and I learned to be a lot more careful with who I trust, and what I trust them with.  It was difficult to get this off everyone’s mind but time heals all.  The subject still comes up here and there but I can only try to put all of this behind me, and learn from what happened.

It’s human nature to make mistakes.  It happens.  But what causes people to do such low things to try and ruin other people’s lives?  Have they got nothing better going on in life?  The world is vicious place and people are always going to be out there trying ot take you down a notch.  This is especially true if you’ve got something good going on.  My best advice to avoid these types of situations is to really be careful with what you tell others.  Put yourself in the place of something who would do such a thing.  Is what you’re saying something that can get you in trouble?  Can what you’re saying (or doing!) come back at you in any negative way?  If so, you better be saying or doing whatever to someone you know you can trust.  Who can you trust though?  Well, you’ve got to be careful there, too.  Situations tend to come up to let you know who stands by you through thick and thin.  Use this to your full advantage. 

Life’s too short to waste time being around those who are only trying to drag you down.  It’s better to be the bigger person and let nature take it’s course.  Personal revenge?  Well, that’s going to be karma at work again.  Don’t bother.  Those that deserve it, will get theirs.
