There’s no rule saying tat everyone you know has to get along, so it’s not the end of the world if he dislikes your buddies — you just don’t need to hear about it. Tell him that you love your pals, quirks and all, because they’re part of what makes you you, and if he truly cares about you he’ll respect that. But don’t expect to drag him off for a night-out or a Sunday brunch with the gang either. He’s entitled to his opinion, so let him sit that one out.

Prove there’s room in your life for everybody by scheduling must-see-man time during the week. If he doesn’t stop ragging on your amigos, you might be wasting your time with a whiner. If that’s the case, consider showing him the light by showing him the door.
