What Women Like in Men
The other day I was coming back from lunch when I met a co-worker in the elevator. This man is short, 40-ish, and generally looks brotherly. He is not what I would call a stud. It was cold outside and he had been walking and the cold made his eyes tear up. There we were, in the elevator. I looked over and one of the tears had spilled onto his cheek. He just stood there, with that one lone tear upon his cheek and kept smiling and talking. It made my knees go weak. And that made me wonder: what do women find attractive in men?
The Look
Of course, there are the obvious things: we want men who are generally well groomed, though not too well. We still want to be prettier than our men. However, here I am talking about how a man looks at a woman. Why is it that some men just have that melt-your-bones-come-hither look and others do not? I think it’s how they look at you. There is the straight into the eye, wide open lids look that says “I am interested and I am honest and open to you.” That’s good, but it won’t have me swooning. What I want is that slightly crinkled corners, demi-amused, looking up from under the upper lid intense look. That’s the look that says “I am totally picturing you naked and I like it!”
The Tie

Yeah, I know, most men hate wearing them, but believe me, ties are sexy. Here, it’s all about being tactile. Women like to play with their hands and what could be nicer than a soft piece of silk that is hanging on a man’s chest. It’s good for stroking, pulling toward me for a kiss, untying… Just take my word for it.
Hands
I know you’ve heard this one before, but it’s all true. Hands are super important. These are the hands that will hold mine. I can’t talk about shape (though obviously I have my favourites) because you can’t change the shape of your hand. However, what I can say is we don’t like dirt under the fingernails! I don’t care that you are a diesel mechanic, I want those hands to be squeaky clean when they touch me. Oh, and they need to be big and definitely not pudgy, and not dry. Use that hand cream so that when you take my hand in yours for the first time, the skin is soft and the touch is firm and protective. That includes when we shake hands for the first time. Hold my hand tight, but without crushing mine.

So, don’t wipe that tear, give me the sexy look, let me play with your tie, and hold my hand and let’s see where that lead us!

Nice article, I keep my hands clean, but I’m not to keen on the tie’s, although I can rock them as well.

Bums!
Well, that’s what I always heard women like! Ties. Yeah – at 43 I can certainly live with that, though!
Nice article. Living. Alive. Nice!
