When a Woman Loves a (Younger) Man

Our story has been from an acquaintance friends who say they’ve fallen or starting to fall for a very young man. Three of of them were Aida, Lorna and Faye.

Aida, who confessed she’s separated from her husband said her relationship with her young friend has gone all the way. Sort of a mutual understanding, with consent from both parties.  She care deeply for a guy, despite the relation is troublesome.  He’s got a gf and when she see him getting serious with the relationship she made plans to stop seeing him.  He however, doesn’t want to her to leave.  She sometimes going out with them on gimmicks.  She even taught the woman how to cook some of the things likes the guy so much.  She would be hypocrite if she tell you she wasn’t affected with their company.  I don’t want to lose him right now.  And although I enjoy every minute that we’re together, I don’t think I’m really in love with him.  I just care deeply.  added Aida. 

Lorna, on other hand, says she is just starting to miss the company of 18 year-old friend.  We’re not yet on relationship, but I miss his company so terribly, said Lorna who averred she is also separated from her husband. 

Faye, meanwhile, said she’s being ardently courted by a man 15 years younger than she is.  Faye in a 35 year old travel executive, and unlike Aida, and Lorna, she is still single. “I’m too much attached for work.”  “I had lot’s of suitor but everyone give up less than a month, because he couldn’t adjust to my work schedule.  But Johnny is different, almost a year on a trial-relationship basis,  but he didn’t give up even he knew he’s not my priority.” Says Lorna.  “What bothers us both is the way people look at our relationship.  It’s like a big mistake to fall inlove with older woman.”  she said. 

An observation shared by almost all of the people we’ve talked to regarding this May-December affair involving older woman.  Can’t older woman and a younger man have a healthy relationship? Is it not unkind to tag the woman sugar mommy and the man user when they get into such a relationship? A friend whom I’ll just call Marlon feel for a teacher some 12 years his senior.  Marlon said he found Marj his ideal woman, never mind that she’s a teacher while Marlon’s a student in the college where Marj teaches.  Soon after Marlon finished all his subjects under Marj, he started courting her.  At first, Marj just laughed off the young man’s words of affection, but Marlon persisted.
