When Cute Turns Into Obsessive

Have you ever been on a date with someone really sweet, and then it got crazy? Here are some signs to watch out for in the beginning.

Of course it starts out great. Your parents and friends love them, you go out on a lot of fun dates, and they are really attentive and sweet. Perfect? Maybe, maybe not. The first sign that something is not right is if they say “I love you” too soon. Some teenage girls might like that, but it’s easy to tell when it isn’t right.

Another bad sign is when they get very upset when you talk about other guys/girls. In a normal relationship, you can have friends and it isn’t a problem. In a relationship with someone obsessive, they try to pull you away from all of your other friends so you will just be with them.

Also, beware when they get mad if you call later than they expected. They won’t care what you were doing, they just care that you won’t drop everything for them.

Lastly, if this person wants to run away and get married after a few months of dating(unless you have discussed it before and you both want to) stay away!

Obsession is not love, so get out if you are uncomfortable. You will probably need to change your number to get away from them. Even if they don’t call right away, they will most likely try to contact you again in the future. Once you get away from them, you can find someone who loves you and lets you have friends. Look for love, not obsession.

Good advice. Obsession is not love.
