When is The Right Time to Break Up?
When there is time to fall in love, one cannot avoid the fact that some people are just not meant for each other, thus, there’s the time to break-up.
When there is time to fall in love, one cannot avoid the fact that some people are just not meant for each other, thus, there’s the time to break-up. When the relationship is already doing more harm than good, it can consume so much of our energy and most of the time we feel things are just not right. There are signs and symptoms to know if the relationship is already closer to the end and it’s time to break it up before you lose your respect to one another. It is even better to break it off having respect with your “soon to be ex” partner so one day a platonic friendship could be visible. Chances are if the two ended a relationship in a weird way, two would exit bitter, drained and frustrated. One can actually avoid this matter. If you already have the following signs for a long period of time it is absolutely right time to let go.
- Signs of comparison- all the time there’s no other thoughts that comes out in your brain but compare your partner to a more attractive, better guy or girl around or your friends’ partners. And wish that he/she is like that. You even find other people attractive and infatuated with those closer to you.
- Those things that you admire about your partner do not count anymore. You cannot appreciate, neglect to appreciate or exhausted of appreciating the values, the beauty or those things that you usually like about your partner.
- Communication is very difficult for a long period of time. There’s constant fights even the smallest of the smallest things and often end up in a fight that either the two would walk out in anger and doesn’t resolve at all or if the conflict causes both or either one numbness or coldness. Most of the time you lose respect toward him/her and she/he seemed very small in your eyes that seemed too easy to hurt or emasculate his/her feelings.
- Criticisms are common in your words toward your partner. You can see even the pettiest criticism and you cannot take it anymore.
- You discover you lose interest in sharing anything to your partner and even find out that there’s nothing to share to her/him. You even like to share your feelings, experiences to your friends or another new person.
- You have no sexual appetite for him/her and their touches can make you vomit.
When you feel these symptoms for a long time, you better break it off before you lose completely the respect in each other. If you can’t be lovers then you deserve a better partner and you don’t have to suffer. Life is so short.
