Why Do Good Men Cheat?

First of all, not all men cheat. And obviously, women cheat too. Cheating in a relationship is viewed upon as an infidelity, disloyalty and dishonesty in a relationship. Before writing this article, I asked my girl friends and girl co-workers what they think about the reason behind the infidelity of men. Almost all of them answered – “For Sex”. Yes, I know that when guys cheat; sex comes in first in every girls mind. I admit some men are such an ass and cheat because they have the opportunity to do it. Some are jerks that would want to have sex with as many girls as possible. Although most men are unfaithful, that doesn’t mean that all of them are. And not all men do it just for sex and personal pleasure or satisfaction.

My purpose of writing this article is for women to find the answer why good guys cheat. To understand them and realize that there are some factors that could trigger the cheating. Women don’t realize that some men cheat because they have a problem with their relationship. Girls, better pay attention so that your hubby wont cheat on you.

Some men cheat because of the following reasons:

-Low self-esteem. Men, especially those who are married usually cheat because of low self esteem. The reason behind this is lack of attention and appreciation. Also, women make men feel unappreciated sometimes. They make men feel that they aren’t that attractive or not good in bed, although unintentionally. So most probably they will look for other girls that would appreciate them and uplift their feelings of self worth.

-Nagging wife/woman. Almost all men will be driven away by a nagging partner. Who would want to be with that? So girls, better try to lower down that big BUZZ of yours. Show your love and affection instead. We men love that.

-Lack of Surprises. Some men cheat because of lack of excitement. Sex nowadays is part of every relationship. Although, it’s not all about it but it adds color in a relationship. Men prefer girls who put some fire in a lame relationship and surprises especially in their sex life. Women can easily make a man in fire that is so hot that that man won’t have any reason to cheat at all.

-Lack of Sex. Yup! Sex! Let’s admit it. Men want more sex than women. Always saying NO to your guy would hurt them emotionally and eventually their ego. I’m not saying have sex everyday but once in a while try making them feel that you want their body too. That would make them feel appreciated and will boost their confidence.

-“Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are.” Some guys cheat because they have a friend that also had cheated. Best solution: ask him to spend their time together in an environment that offers less or no temptation at all. You may also try creating a circle of friends that are couples too that shares good values towards a happy and good relationship.

-There are some men that aren’t very open in telling his problems and secrets to his partner. Instead, they share those things to someone else especially to other girls. Sometimes, it also leads to cheating, always seeing a girl whom he can tell everything. So before this happen, at least do your best to make him comfortable with you. Make him feel that he can trust you and he can tell you everything. That you will always be with him no matter what. Make him remember that you are his better half. Comfort him and make him realize that he doesn’t need anybody else but you.
